Terms of Use — CDL Prep

By downloading or using the CDL Prep mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you obtained the App through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the extent it grants you broader rights.

1. What the App is — and is not

The App is an independent study aid for the knowledge portions of the U.S. commercial driver's license (CDL) exam. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state Department of Motor Vehicles, the FMCSA, AAMVA, or any government agency. Practice questions are original works written to reflect the concepts covered in official study materials; they are not actual exam questions. Studying with the App does not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Always rely on your state's official CDL manual and current regulations as the authoritative source.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own for personal study. You may not copy, extract, scrape, resell, or redistribute the App's question bank or other content, and you may not reverse-engineer the App except where permitted by law.

3. Purchases, subscriptions, and trials

• Weekly and Monthly Premium are auto-renewing subscriptions. Where offered, new subscribers receive a 3-day free trial; the subscription price is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown in the App at the time of purchase until cancelled. Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and unlocks Premium for the lifetime of the App on your store account.
• Payments are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled by the store you purchased through, under that store's refund policies.
• Prices may change for future purchases; changes never apply retroactively to an already-paid period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App unlawfully, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to its content, or to interfere with its operation.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Regulations change; content may lag behind the current law of your state.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including exam outcomes. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim arose.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time; Sections 5–6 survive termination.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
